Appointment Policy

We are so excited to meet our neighbors and new friends!  As a result, we are providing in-person exams.  Our Covid 19 policy will change according to the CDC guidelines for Allegheny County.   While masks are no longer recommended for indoors, our staff will continue to wear them. For now, we do kindly ask that as few people as possible attend their pet’s visit.

For new clients, please bring your pets’ current medical records so we have the best understanding of your pet's needs and history.   This will help us to make sure that your pet gets exactly what they need and nothing more.  Please arrive 20 minutes early for your appointment so we can get the appropriate and current information into our system.  

Arrival Policy

When you enter our facility, we will put you and your pet straight into an exam room.  This is to avoid COVID-19 transmission and will hopefully be less stressful for your pet.  Since we see patients by appointment only, your wait to see the doctor will not be long.  

Safety Policy

We know your angel is the most well-behaved pet in the whole world.  However, we still kindly ask that all pets are either on a secure leash or in a closed carrier.

Financial Policies

As with most veterinary businesses, we cannot provide direct billing.  Payment is due at time services are performed. A third-party credit agency, Care Credit, can provide billing for those who qualify. If needed, please talk to one of our staff members for instructions on how to apply.  We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. We do not accept checks.

Prescription Policy

If you would like to have your pets’ prescriptions filled by an unaffiliated online pharmacy, you do so at your own risk.  We cannot guarantee the quality or authenticity of products from such outlets.  Upon your request, we can provide you with a written prescription to use at your own discretion.   The online pharmacy accessible through our website does guarantee that their products are legitimate and directly obtained through the manufacturer, and we are happy to work directly with them avoiding the need to deal with written scripts.   We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
